   I like everything about this controller: comfort, light weight, connection is solid, battery life has been good. The reason I left a star off is that even though I’m following their instructions, I cannot get the controller to wake the Switch and connect. Not a huge deal, I just use it as the Pro controller for first player and this for when the Switch is already on. If the Switch is on, this controller is identified easily.

   Just got this in the mail today and this doesn’t work at all. I think we were given a faulty refurbished controller. Even tried pairing it with other devices just to see if it would take but it won’t pair at all. It would just be discoverable but won’t take. Also, the controller has scratches like it’s already been used. Definitely returning asap! Don’t waste your time on this one!

   Great controller for Switch. First time connecting was a bit of a struggle, but connects with the home button once console is powered on. Lightweight but not flimsy, the buttons wiggle a bit but it doesnt effect game play, just makes it noisy. Charging cord is barely a foot long, but it charges fairly quickly and holds a charge well. The light by the home button is kinda bright and has a bit of a glare if you play in the dark. The rumble is serious, feels like a rumble pack from N64 and doesnt have different levels, just earthquake.

   I received my controller today. At first glance it looked nice and felt comfortable in my hands. Upon using it briefly I noticed my pinky finger felt something sharp. It was the edge of the controller. I examined the controller and noticed that the clam shell didn’t fit properly. There was quite the gap! Also the charging port was not secure. This will break in time. It feels like an Xbox controller but is lighter. It is cheaply made. The pieces don’t line up. The controller looks black however, the case is translucent. Shining a flashlight at the case you can see all of the components and how they fit.I really wanted to like this controller but seeing how the pieces don’t match up I will be sending for a replacement. Hopefully it will be right.Also of note, the home button lights up. The white LED is very bright and distracting. It shines at your face. It definitely will bother a lot of people.

   People may all say ‘compared to others this is similar’ but regardless of the market pushing controller prices up 60 pounds still feels like a lot to spend on a controller.
   However it is a fantastic controller to use with the switch and for those with larger hands it’s essential to avoid the cramping that comes from trying to use the lower functions on the joycon controllers for any play session longer than about 30 minutes.
   Just have to bite the proverbial bullet and buy it.
   Bought mine over a year ago and would never go back to joycons out of handheld mode.
   Doesn’t always work to wake the switch up from sleep, usually end up with the TV switching automatically but just showing a black screen vs working perfectly when pressing power button on switch itself (but this could be a YMMV situation based on the TV it’s hooked up to).

   If you’re like me, you looked at the switch pro controller and thought to yourself – $70 for 1 controller?! There’s gotta be an alternative. Well here is the answer. Right out of the box the first thing that stood out was the quality and feel of the controller. Great grippy thumbsticks and buttons weren’t mushy. Connecting to the switch was simple and no problem. It’s a huge step up from the joycons and at this price it’s a no brainer.

   The controller ultimately died inexplicably during gameplay on PC and I’ve no idea why.
   Before then, it was an okay enough controller, but the right and left sticks were very insensitive and felt as if I were playing these games with a PS2 controller. It’s somewhat comfortable to hold but can be awkward when playing games that require frequent use of LB/RB and RT/LT. Pretty disappointed that it died on me because it was far better than my other controller. Gonna avoid this brand altogether.

    i bought this remote for my Nintendo Switch and to use it for that you need to charge and dock it the first time, then your good to go . it is a plug and play .this one is black with blue lights and the feel of the buttons feels natural and easy to navigate.
