This went in very easily. The only qualm I had is the tweezers are sharp and I broke the power/volume ribbon cable with them. I ordered a pair of rubber tipped grippy ones for that part. Very smooth action on the new sticks. My kids loved the little joy con stick caps too.

I was really happy to get these to replace a joy stick that didn’t have the rubber padding anymore plus I thought white would look better on the blue controller but…Both sticks don’t register all the way when I push them upwards. I first noticed after installing them when I played animal crossing and my character would walk when I was pushing the joy stick all the way upwards no matter if I tried running in game it was still not registering so my character would just walk a little faster instead of actually running. As shown in the pictures above I am pushing the stick upwards as much as I can and it’s not registering fully. I already tried both analog sticks and will have to put on my old analog stick. Yes I tried calibrating them but no success, sucks this is my first bad review I’ve left on any purchase ever :/

If you are going to do this make sure you have your own screwdrivers. The ones that came with this kit stripped out almost instantly.

Update!! After 3 days of driftless wonder. I am stuck with another drifting joycon. The one Installed on Joycon (L) is drifting to the left. — Original review: Installed today on my Splatoon joycon. Had to calibrate then reboot the switch. They have a lot of resistance and seem very sturdy. The dust covers under the thumbstick look a little cheap. Will update soon.
