   This grip is quite a bit more comfortable than the regular grip. It’s a little wider and the handles are larger and conform to the hands better. The only minus is that the joycons sometimes go off the railing as they slide in if you aren’t careful, and it is a bit of a tight fit to get them in, but it’s not a big deal.

   Like:I love the color and that it is as vibrant as it is in the photo. Also, I have more accessories for my switch.Dislike:My item came with an extra cut where you could tell which player you are (more of a manufacturing dilemma but still works the same just that instead of it showing player 2 you are actually 1… at least for me). Also when I slide the joy-cons it is kinda tight, however at the same time I would rather it be tight than loose in my opinion.

   I like the CoreAudio Switch Comfort Grip – Blue – Easy Attachment, Comfortable Hold, Nintendo Switch Joy-Con Handheld Joystick Remote Control Cover Holder (Blue). My daughter’s joy-con controllers were a very tight fit. It took a little force to get them into the grip. However, once they were in, the controller worked just as well as the Nintendo version.Overall, not too bad. That’s why I gave it 4 stars.

   This is pretty similar to the one that came with our switch. The part you hold onto has a dip in the top making it more comfortable in your hands. The part you slide the joycons into is plastic not metal like the original one, and it’s not one whole track it splits in the middle so you have to be careful and guide the joycon into the second section or it’ll get jammed up.

   This switch grip remote control holder is the perfect color blue to match the switch blue. Came in a day early and fit nice and snug to my brand new controllers. Would highly recommend.

   Not sure if anyone else had the same problem but when mine arrived I tried to put the joy cons in and in order to get them in, I had to very forcefully push them into the sockets. Just thought I should put this out there as my Joy Cons did not fit.

   Both slides are tight, especially the left hand side, but I was able to insert and remove both sides fairly easily. The body is a decent plastic, and doesn’t feel much different in texture or weight from the official first party one.

   Maybe not something you want to be sliding your joycons into a lot due to wear and tear, but fully functional. I may take a file to some of the parts to make them a bit wider and easier to work with, but that absolutely not be something that a consumer should have to do to be comfortable using a product.

   Maybe a little more work in the design and manufacturing phase could have helped make this a better fit.

   Do yourself a favor and just buy the genuine one from Nintendo. I was optimistic about this but it was quickly dispelled once I tried to use it. Its essentially just a plastic mold and is made as cheaply made as possible. The genuine Nintendo one has metal slides for the joy cons to slide into. This one does not and it just plastic. When I tried placing the joy cons in, I was fighting it the entire time. Felt like I was going to break something trying to get them in there. Just spend the extra money to get the actual Nintendo one. Normally I’d say something like, “well if you just need something to work…” but this isn’t it. Just don’t buy it. Its not worth it at all.

   This does not fit the joycons for the switch. You would have to force the controllers. Gave it as a gift so too late to return. So I bought them another. Same issue. Returned it.

    Don’t waste your time. Even after fixing it, the fit wasn’t good. Too tight, like it wouldbe damaging putting them in and out. Not smooth likeOEM, rough and rigid. Pass.

    I can’t recommend this comfort grip because it doesn’t fit the controllers properly and you risk breaking your joycons when trying to install. My daughter came to me and said “they don’t fit”. After look closer it is a very snug fit and if you force the joycon you will break it. The problem the channel the joycons slide into isn’t continuous and the joycon slides up and catches. After messing with it for a minute, I was able to get the joycons fully installed without breaking but joycons are expensive and I can’t risk loosing a joycon to a cheaply build grip. Buyer beware.

    I thought this was going to be an easy review. This is an item that has no moving parts and you just slide your joycon controllers into it. Well, the controllers do not slide in easily because unlike the Nintendo version of this product, the metal rail is replaced with plastic, which does not guide the controller in properly and actually damages the rails on your joy cons. The OEM version has no issues like this.This does work you just have to be extra careful sliding your joy cons in. But kids aren’t going to be able to do that. So find a better version, because the plastic rails do damage, and it isn’t worth the price savings.

    The controllers are hard to put in and remove from this holder. We stopped using it.
