Having bought some third-party modding parts for similar purposes before, I didn’t expect a whole lot. This has probably changed my expectations for the foreseeable future. The plastic parts fit perfectly and look as though they were produced with the same molds Nintendo themselves use. The plastic itself I’d even say is better than the plastic Nintendo uses, it’s a bit “softer” if that makes any sense. They also include all of the tools necessary to perform the modification, and an entire extra set of screws *plus* additional extra screws for the Pro Controller. Their tutorial video is very clear, and the entire process was quick, easy, and very enjoyable. Kudos to the folks at eXtremeRate.

Pro controller shells are easy to swap out and this one was easy to put in. It has a slightly different feel than the original shell. It’s almost more silky or satinish. If that’s what you’re looking for this is good and has held up so far with nothing rubbing off.
