A fun game for all audience, especially those with some interest in game design but not quite at the point of programming them. Definitely built more for making games than playing them as the systems make it impossible to find other games to play without the assistance of 3rd party websites specializing in finding game codes. There is no search options within the game itself and the only thing you’re given in terms of sharing your game is a “game code” that you have to directly share with your friends or a 3rd party site.

As an adult who likes video games I think I would like a few more features, for for the price if you have kids interested in programming this is a 10/10. There is a lot they can learn and do. Maybe it’ll run it’s course after a month or so and they’ll lose interest, but for $30 it’s way cheaper than the coding camps I was going to sign them up for.
My 6 year old has now built 2 levels completely by himself. He just finished kindergarten so he’s not reading very much yet, but the tutorials and the picture style Nodons have allowed him to build by himself.
I wouldn’t classify this as an adult game (although I’ve enjoyed making some things), I highly recommend it for kids interested in actual game programming.

I preordered this game. Nintendo needs to throw in an update where we can see how many people downloaded our games and possibly even a ranking system. Jst thumbs up or thumbs down. Obviously the game hub would be awesome, but that’s a much bigger update. Just let us see the feedback for our creations lol. Otherwise, the core of the game is really fun. You have a bunch of different options and u can make the logic really complex. Would recommend, but would also appreciate that update.
