   I went traveling earlier in the year and decided to take my Nintendo Switch with me. I didn’t have a case for it and made do with a sleeve intended for an iPad. However, I decided I’d prefer a better solution for future trips. This case caught my eye since I loved the strawberry pattern on it so I decided to request it.The case has a hard outer shell which I was hoping for; it will give me more confidence that the joysticks won’t get smashed in my bag. The divider flap has space for ten Switch cartridges; I don’t have anywhere close to 10 games yet but I found the elastic had a good hold on the cartridge I tested it with.There’s a zippered pouch on one side to store a few items as well. I noticed that when I put the included strap in this zippered section while the Switch was on the other side, the bag didn’t easily close all the way so I don’t think people are meant to put too many items in there. The zipper was in the closed position on both sides at first which was odd, but once I pulled the zipper to the other side it corrected itself and is working fine.I’ll note I probably won’t use the strap very much since I’ll generally put it in a backpack or other larger bag. It seems like a pretty basic strap and has a plastic-like feel, but it is adjustable and seems like it would be adequate to carry the weight of a Switch.The lining on the side where you store the Switch is pleasantly soft. I love the strawberry pattern, and hadn’t noticed when I looked at the pictures that the zipper pulls are also little strawberries, so that was a pleasant surprise. Google Translate tells me the Japanese text incorporated into the pattern says “strawberry”. As expected, there are also two little strawberry buttons you can use to decorate your Switch if you want. Mine came with a sheet of cute stickers as well.One thing that confused me: On the side where you store the Switch, there was a longer strap under the little Velcro strap to hold the Switch. The smaller strap can easily be used to Velcro the Switch in place using Velcro on the center flap where you can store cartridges, but it is not nearly long enough to connect to that longer strap that has to run underneath the Switch. I have no idea what that extra strap is for since there’s nothing else it can connect to.The case is adorable and should work great for my occasional travel needs. Though I’m confused about the extra strap on the inside, I think it’s worth a buy. Bear in mind the zippered pouch will probably only be able to hold a few small things.
