   Has a tiny delay switching to the tv compared to the nintendo dock, but its literally a difference of like three seconds. True its a bit snug with a screen protector too. However, if you do your research, unlike the people who bricked their switch, so now they give one star to any third party dock, even if theyve never used it, you will find that those instances were caused by only two brands, years ago. This not being one of them, coupled with the fact that there are no claims of bricking in the reviews from people who actually bought one of these, i took the risk. Havent had any issues at all, and my switch spends way more time on this dock than the one it came with.

   The HDMI cable that comes with this is cheap garbage. It was faulty right out of the box. Artifacts flashed across the screen constantly and every 30 seconds or so the screen would go black. Replaced with a quality HDMI cable and it seems fine. The power brick is also questionable, it’s much lighter than any other adapter I’ve seen that puts out this much power. However, it does seem to be functioning correctly and it does not have the classic “whine” that comes from cheap transformers.

   Overall, the dock seems adequate, but the accessories are junk. Since the accessories being included are the only reason I chose this one over the dozens of other aftermarket docks available that do not come with cables, and since I had to literally replace and throw away the HDMI cable, I would not consider this dock a better choice than any other.

   The dock was very easy to set up, between unboxing and plugging it in, it took about 2 minutes. The HDMI cables came with protected covers and it was neatly packages. The Dock itself has 4 grips at the bottom which is very nice to prevent the dock from sliding. When you actually dock the Switch in, there are 4 grips inside as well, 2 in the front and 2 in the back. The grips do not touch the visual screen, but they do grip the black edges of the screen. You can see in the picture, where the dock is raised up in the front is where the grips are. This is nice because it secures your Switch in place besides just relying on the usb-C dock/gravity to do it. I know Nintendo had a problem with their original dock because the plastic would rub against the screen, causing scratches in the Switch, and while I don’t see this being a problem as it’s rubber and won’t scratch like plastic would, I ALWAYS recommend getting a glass screen protector for your electronic devices, and the Switch is no exception. To remove the Switch, I put my thumbs on the raised part of the dock and lift up with my other fingers and it comes out easily, yet still feels secure in the Dock as it does take a bit of pressure to get it out. If you like low-profile (less material so you see more of the Switch), I can’t recommend this one enough.

   This dock seems to work pretty well and seems to work pretty much like the official dock. You plug it in, dock your switch and off you go.The dock shows the full face of the switch, but you are unable to use the switch screen while docked. I feel like they should probably make a switch so that you can choose between the switch screen and your TV.The materials feel really good and charges the switch well. Rubber feet on the bottom to make the dock feel very secureThe image quality looked good on the TV as well.There is unfortunately a major flaw in this dock which I am not really sure why it was overlooked. There is no vent holes for the switch, it just completely blocks off the vent holes in the back of the switch. There seems to be a few TINY slits towards the base of where the switch sits, but there is no possible way that it could be getting much, if any airflow. There are vents in the back of the dock, but it doesn’t really make much sense seeing as the switch is cut off from airflow anyways.It is a good dock for the price, but I think I am going to have to get the dremel out to make sure the switch can breathe properly.

   We were excited to get a second dock for our Switch since we have multiple TVs. We realized that there are legends about docks like this bricking Switches, but as we could find no direct evidence for this, we were willing to take the risk and try this one.When we got the dock, we looked it over. We noticed that there were no pads in the front; some people might worry about scratches on their screen, but as we have a screen protector, we weren’t concerned. We finally had everything plugged in and ready to go and it would not go: the USBC connector was/is misaligned. It simply will not dock.The silver lining here is that at least the USBC power cable is UL posted, so we do have a cable.

    Was purchased as part of my sons Christmas gifts. It worked for 3 day’s then stopped working. I’ve tried everything I can think of and it won’t even power up. Waste of money and a gift.

    Does its job right and works perfectly. With the screen protector on the switch, it becomes semi difficult to line up the plugs. The screen protector adds thickness to the switch and that little bit of extra thickness makes for a tight fit and makes it a little harder to line everything up. Still with some concentration and patience, this works and fine and doesnt scratch up the screen protector.
