Originally wanted the black color case but has been sold out for quite some time. When I bought it, It was with the intent to paint it black, but decided not to because of the way it feels in your hands, I didn’t want to ruin that. Highly recommended!

   It’s good but maybe not for me..cases on joycons are hard to take off and require a lot of pressure to take them off..I like to change the look on my switch by changing cases once in a while..trying to take them off was hard and it left a little scuff marks on the joycon edges and on the console edges when I took them off…if you take your switch with you wherever you go this one is perfect because it’s a good drop protection the description says hard TPU and yes it is hard..also if you are planning on leaving the case on forever this one is for you.

   It works well but it’s hard to get on and off also getting to the disconnect buttons from the switch on the joycons is a challenge. You have to press Harder to get them separated. I would recommend to the company to redesign the joycon covers to either have that button uncovered or with a softer rubber. Also the screen case doesn’t allow you to fit it in the dock.

   I have purchased this same brand and protector for my first switch and then I got it for my wife’s switch. We both loved using this protector because you can easily open it without using the switch’s flimsy stand. Now that I have the OLED switch, I didn’t need this protector but decided to get it again simply because I loved how it covers the switch. There is no hassle when you are taking it off.

   The product is great overall. The straps at the back of the Joycon work well, and the plastic is good quality and is comfortable on my hands. The only problem is the buttons to slide the joycon are too stiff and require a lot of pressure to use them. That being said, I still think it is a great product and will continue to use it.
