I just got the Cubevit switch stand. I was looking at the Hori one and saw some comments mentioning that this one was more stable so I thought I’d give it a go. I don’t have any others for comparison.
Overall it seems well made and well thought out. There is what seems to be 1 design flaw, and it’s not really something that matters to me so that’s why it gets 4 stars. Without that it would be 5. The flaw is that on the bottom of the stand there are 4 rubber feet that keep it from sliding. When the stand is actually in use, the front 2 rubber feet actually don’t make contact with the table — the plastic “lip” (not sure how to describe) on the front touches the table instead. So when the stand is closed and not being used, you get 4 rubber feet touching the table… when it’s actually being used as a stand, you get 2. I guess the solution would be rubber feet that are a tiny bit thicker.
Besides that, and really is a minor thing for me and won’t really impact me ever, it’s really nicely made and does the job well so I’m very happy with it and won’t be looking for a replacement.

Flimsy and cheap. The pull-down tab, where console rests on, have too much play and does not completely rest all the way down. This makes my switch sits crooked. It’s going back.

Its a cheap stand that works. Its very flimsy. The back stand keeps folding making it kind of useless. I have super glued the back stand to make it work.

Its a little larger than expected in terms of surface area, so it’s too big it fit in my Switch case, but it flattens out enough to where it doesn’t take up much space. It easily fits in a backpack or one of the switch messenger bags if you have one of those. Great for holding the Switch in place to play and charge at the same time and obviously is more stable than the kickstand on the console! Great value!

Product looked great until I tried to use it. The piece that unfolds out, which is supposed to hold the switch, is flimsy. The right side sags and holds the switch unevenly. Look for other options, as this is a low quality product.

I love this stand because I can charge my Switch while playing. It’s pretty sturdy.

This is a good stand but not the one for me. I was looking for a stand that would be able to fit inside of a Switch case, but this is way too big for that. It says ‘pocket-sized’ but unless you have big pockets (my dad was able to fit it in his as a test), that’s not going to be the case. That being said, the fact that it’s bigger means that it covers more surface area when the Switch is placed inside and is indeed more sturdy, so if sturdiness is the main thing you’re looking for then this stand is for you. It’s nice that it has the four different adjustment angles as well, though the prong for the most upright position is lower than the rest and doesn’t seem very secure. It folds up quite flat as well, coming to about 3/4 of an inch.
TL;DR: Get it your main concern is sturdiness, but don’t get it if you want it to fit in a standard case.
