   It works great at making your switch controllers into a combined controller or individually, but my son says the grips feel awkward when attached to the switch device.

   I love that this works and (mostly) feels like the original, but it can separate if you want to use them with motion controls, or maybe just sitting on the couch, feeling lazy and not wanting to hold up your hands to hold the controller!Overall, the price is great and it does what I need it to.

   It is a comfortable grip and is a worthwhile improvement over the stock controllers when attached to the console. It is a little wider and more comfortable than the “Joy-Con Comfort Grip” that comes with the Switch. My only disappointment was that when connected to the Switch it does not fit in the charging cradle.

   My kids love this! They get to play on the big screen a bit, but more often than not they have it as a portable console and this lets them feel more comfortable and grip when playing! – the two segments only push together when using as an individual controller, but so far, it seems like it holds together plenty – when using it with the screen, the pieces actually slide down onto the sides of the switch – my only concern would be if they put a lot of pressure on the switch itself the handle slides may be damaged – but with three boys, so far it’s proven its worth! – 10 out of 10 was a great choice and a nice little upgrade!

   The grips are comfortable and fit the controllers snuggly but my bigget issues are they you just detach them from the console if you want to dock it and mine sits loosely on the left side of the console

   stays connected pretty well, taking it apart is easy, and hooking on to my switch is good (except for this 1 I need to push the button on it so it stay on the switch) then press the buttons so it will come off. And grip handling is great. (P.S. It can hook onto other colored version of it).

   There isn’t a ribbon cable or any electronics in the plastic piece. When put into handheld mode, the joycons are still wireless. Cant play in airplane mode to conserve power or cant play games that treats the controller as different when not clicked into the console

    It holds my original joycons just fine. When the two halves are connected with eachother, it’s a little loose, but that’s to be expected. When connected to the switch, it’s fairly solid. There is no way to charge the joycons while they are in this grip. The joycons do not connect directly to the switch through the grip, when attached to the console. You have to play wireless at all times. This is an okay alternative to a grip case. It does exactly what you’d expect. Just keep in mind, it’s not compatible with most Switch cases.

    Within moments of me putting this on, it got stuck and wouldn’t come off. It didn’t fit well and was not worth buying.
