   I bought this so I could have a second location in my house for my Switch in case one of the TVs is occupied. It’s finicky but gets the job done. Mostly. I don’t like that it doesn’t come with its own power adapter. That’s really inconvenient, especially when it says that in order for charge and play to work I have to use the Switch charger. And I’m not unplugging that from my current set up. I’ve been testing it the last week or so with a charger and USB-C cable I found in a drawer, and while it works to charge the Switch overnight when it’s in sleep mode, it doesn’t charge at all when I’m playing. So by the time I get done for the day I’m dwindling at 10% battery even though the charging icon is showing next to the battery. For a “good” docking station, it sure is a lot of hassle. I don’t know if I’ll be keeping this. I’ll give it another day or two I suppose. But so far, I’m not very satisfied.

   This Nintendo switch dock is light weight and perfect for traveling. Definitely less bulky and work out well for our trip to the mountains. It doesn’t over heat and has 2 light modes. My 10 year old little dude approved this purchase.

   UPDATE: Stopped working after 2 weeks. Completely dead.It’s laughably small but it works great. Using with a switch and chat headphones. Does not come with a cord. Have to use your own switch usb c cord to power it. It’s really just a hub with multiple ports. That doubles as a stand for your switch.

   Very easy set up, works great with joy-cons detached and a wired controller, picture quality looks clear as ever. Three usb slots allows for more than wired controller to be hooked up. The only problem i ran into was there was no slot for an eaithernet cable so i had to run wireless.

   Lo compré para poder conectar mi Switch (1a generación) a un proyector sin tener que mover la base original de su lugar. Mientras la fuente de poder sea la original de Nintendo (o una similar con la misma capacidad) la base funciona sin ningún problema. Estéticamente es agradable, se ve bien construida y ya ha soportado horas y horas de juego sin problema alguno. La recomiendo totalmente!

   It will not dock. It’s like it was made without thinking someone would have any kind of case on their switch. And my case is very small. And fits perfectly in the original dock. I just wanted a 2nd dock for the living room so I could do exercise games and games when I have guests over. And this won’t go in, and I’m terrified to press it down more and hurt my switch. Gonna have to buy an official dock.

    We bought this to put in our office in order to play on the computer monitor and it works great!
    Simple to use, just plug and play. It’s super slim and hardly takes up and space of the desk. It does need a power cable (USB C) but that’s to be expected. And the slot fits a little snug when you put the switch into it, so be sure to line it up properly. I like that it is snug as I want to protect my charging port from being worn out.
    Over all I highly recommend this dock.

    Airlines keep reducing how much you can bring with you, this dock is small and drastically reduces the amount of space it takes to bring your Switch with you, if you want to play it on your hotel TV.As you can see the blue light is NOT very bright when in use (picture taken without lights to highlight that). The picture is crisp, clear and clean, full 1080p.You MUST have a USB C Switch power supply to use this. We bought one off of Nintendoswitch.us.com because there was no way I’m pulling the mfg plug it came with from the dock behind the entertainment center. Once plugged in, the video displays on the TV screen within 3 seconds, just like the literature it comes with claims.Highly recommend.

    Was excited to use this at a family event for the first time. It worked great for about an hour. Took a break, left my Switch on the dock, then another hour later tried to turn everything back on. Dock is dead, my Switch is dead. It fried my Switch. You have been warned! Stick to official Nintendo dock to avoid ruining your Switch

    The dock works flawlessly, just like the original one. I take it with me on trips and all. Small and functional. The only thing I not as fond of is the fact that if the Switch is docked in TV mode, even if it’s in Sleep Mode, the light is on. I have it in the bedroom and it’s a bit bright. So be aware if you need total darkness to sleep. Doesn’t bother me, but it’s an issue for some people. Oh, and it doesn’t come with a USB-C charger! Remember to buy one to use with it if you don’t have a spare. Very good product, though.

    Practico, facil de instalar, luce muy bonito el NSW cuando esta en modo TV y se evita el sobrecalentamiento del mismo. El punto malo es que al estar jugando la consola deja de cargarse, asi que empieza a perder bateria de manera gradual (cosa que no impide que se pueda usar por aprox. 4 0 5 horas al empezar a jugar con bateria al 100%)

    First thing I noticed was the angle that your Switch sits at and I was concerned it might fall over, but I haven’t had that happen yet. I really appreciate how all the necessary ports are facing the back and won’t bend your cables. The extra USB ports are also great. I’m not a fan of the sticky bottom pad and would have much preferred a normal rubber one. Finally, unlike the original you can switch to handheld mode while still charging by using the button on the back. There is the trade off of when it’s docked it takes up more space due to the angle the Switch sits at, so if your setup is tight on space be aware of this.Overall I’m very happy with the construction, and features here and in many ways it outshines the OEM dock and certainly beats out just using a USB dongle.
