Got this for my 5 year old who is pretty tough on his switch joy cons, and wii remotes. He wanted a pro controller for switch but I was hesitant to get the “official” one due to him probably breaking it and having to replace it. I took a chance on this one and he absolutely loves it. It holds a pretty good charge, we charge it at night and it’s good to go all day. He loves the color and it fits great in his hands. A type c charging port?! Great controller, great price, and even better value.

Just got it and it refuses to connect to the Switch. I charged it up then followed the instructions in the included manual to the letter (it’s pretty straightforward anyway) and it never connects to the Switch. It just stays in pairing mode and doesn’t appear as a connected device on the Switch. Found some other 1-star reviews claiming the same, what a waste of time.
Definitely returning this and shelling out the extra cash for a quality 8bitdo controller instead. I should have done that from the beginning.

Returning due to left joystick drift. Also seems like the joysticks don’t really have much range in sensitivity. Just barely touching them seems to cause max acceleration in the direction you are moving. Also the L and R triggers are kinda loud compared to the real Nintendo controller. Also the LED is very bright, actually too bright. It’s a distraction, and staring at it will hurt your eyes.

I’ve been using this controller for almost a year now and it works great for most games that I play it with. The biggest issue is the accuracy… the analog stick is no where near as precise as the joycon, so you will be overshooting movements and turns in games where you need that precision to make jumps (platformers, etc) . If that’s not as important in other games then you’re fine. Also the battery life lasts a really long time which is super nice I can play for 8 hours straight and it still reads pretty much fully charged. Lastly the controller actually fits amazingly in your hands compared to the joycons. I would recommend this but If you need very precise movement with the analog stick maybe try an official pro controller instead.
