For the price it works good! The layout takes time to get used to. The buttons feel almost like the mechanical ones on an old keyboad. Has a nice controller (1-4) light! And the cord is a good length.

The buttons were mushy and unreliable… the X button in particular failing about 1 out of every 4 presses, but the worst offender is the D-pad. The dpad is both spongy and simultaneously oversensitive, leading to constant unintentional diagonals. This might not sound like a big deal, but it rendered several games either much harder than they needed to be, or in extreme cases, straight-up unplayable.
The controller was pretty comfortable, and the sticks were pretty good, so credit where it’s due, but overall, the sheer deliberateness that this controller demands prevented me from being able to just focus on the game in front of me, and that’s specifically the problem I bought this controller to solve. So I call it a fail.
